Located on the beautiful east coast of the tropical island of Hainan Island, the Wenchang Hilton Resort is the first of a resort district created by the local Chinese Government to promote tourism along the new high speed rail line which connects the beach cities of Haikou to Sanya.  

The design includes an arrival sequence for guests to the main 350 key hotel and a 20 key boutique hotel, three swimming pools, garden network paths linking the 75 Hotel Villas to the hotel gardens, dining terraces and ultimately to the beach.

The boutique hotel has a private pool and an environmentally sensitive boardwalk through the whispering pines connecting a series of vertical tree houses which create a scenic overlook for sunrises across the ocean.
